Gregory Frers (born August 4, 1971) is a Canadian former professionalfootball player who played ten years in theCanadian Football League. Frers playeddefensive back for theCalgary Stampeders,Winnipeg Blue Bombers andBC Lions from 1993 to 2002. He was part of the Stampeders 1998 and 2001Grey Cup winning teams. Frers was an All-Star in 2000 and he also won theTom Pate Memorial Award in 2002. He playedCIS football atSimon Fraser University.
After playing, he became a CFL analyst for theCBC.
