Grazzano Badoglio (Grazzano Monferrato until 1939) is acomune (municipality) in theProvince of Asti in theItalian regionPiedmont, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) east ofTurin and about 15 kilometres (9 mi) northeast ofAsti. Grazzano, which developed round the abbey founded in 961 byAleramo, Marquess of Montferrat, was the birthplace ofPietro Badoglio, for whom it was later renamed.
