Grapholita molesta, theoriental fruit moth orpeach moth, is amoth of the familyTortricidae. It is native toChina, but was introduced toJapan andNorth America and is now also found throughout of Europe, Asia andSouth America and inHawaii,Morocco,Mauritius,South Africa,Australia and New Zealand[2]

Thewingspan is about 13 mm. There are four to seven generations per year.
The larvae feed onpeach,apple,quince,pear,plum,cherry,apricot andnectarine.[3]
