TheGozaisho Ropeway (御在所ロープウェイ,Gozaisho Rōpuwei) is the name of aJapaneseaerial lift line, as well as its operator. Opened in 1959, the lift carries passengers up toMount Gozaisho (御在所岳) inKomono,Mie, offering views ofYokkaichi andIse Bay. The mountain is known for its scenery and the nearbyYunoyama Onsen.[citation needed] The line links to achairlift line that goes to the summit.
