Gordon Young (October 15, 1919 – October 2, 1998) was an Americanorganist andcomposer of bothorgan andchoral works.

Gordon Young was born inMcPherson, Kansas on October 15, 1919. He earned a bachelor's degree in music atSouthwestern College,Winfield. He then began studying organ withAlexander McCurdy at theCurtis Institute of Music, Philadelphia.^[1]
