TheGood Neighbor International Bridge, commonly known as theStanton Street Bridge, is an international bridge connecting theUnited States–Mexico border cities ofEl Paso, Texas, andCiudad Juárez, Chihuahua, across theRio Grande (Río Bravo). The bridge is also known as "Friendship Bridge", "Puente Río Bravo" and "Puente Ciudad Juárez-Stanton El Paso". The Good Neighbor International Bridge is a five lane bridge with 3 lanes for south bound traffic and one forSecure Electronic Network for Travelers Rapid Inspection northbound traffic.[1] The bridge was completed in 1967 and is 880 feet (270 m) long.[2] The U.S. side of the bridge is owned by theCity of El Paso.[1] From January 26, 1999 through at least August 24, 2022, a designated commuter lane on the bridge was co-leased and operated by the United StatesGeneral Services Administration and theEl Paso Chamber.[3]
The El Paso Stanton Street Port of Entry is limited to processing passenger vehicles that are enrolled in theSENTRI program.[4]
