Goh Hanyan[a] (born 16 December 1985) is a Singaporean politician who was elected as aMember of the Parliament of Singapore in the2025 general election. She represents theNee Soon Group Representation Constituency as a member of thePeople's Action Party.[1]

Education

Goh had a master’s degree in engineering management atColumbia University in 2009.[2]

Civil career

After graduating, Goh worked atEconomic Development Board (EDB) and spent her last three years at EDB at itsWashington office.[2] In 2016, she returned to Singapore.[2] Goh later work under the Prime Minister’s Office in the economy and sustainability strategy group.[2] In 2023, she joined theMinistry of Digital Development and Information (MDDI) as a director in the Smart Nation Strategy Office and the national AI group for policy and strategy.[2] In March 2025, Goh resigned from her position from 3 April 2025.[3]

There was controversy over her appearance at a Meet-the-People session at Holland-Bukit Timah constituency on 17 March 2025 because of the Holland-Bukit Timah GRC self-renewal, before moving over to Nee Soon GRC and to replace Faishal Ibrahim who is moving over to Marine Parade-Braddell Heights GRC.[4]
