Gly-Pro-Glu (GPE,glypromate) is atripeptide fragment derived from theN-terminus of the endogenous growth factorIGF-1. It hasantiinflammatory andneuroprotective effects and is of interest in the treatment of neurological conditions such asAlzheimer's disease andParkinson's disease.
