Natalya Ilyinichna Chistyakova-Ionova (Russian:Наталья Ильинична Чистякова-Ионова; born 7 June 1986), better known by her stage nameGlukoza (Russian:Глюкоза,IPA:[ɡlʲʊˈkozə],lit.glucose, before 2024 also was stilyzed asGluk'oza, Russian:Глюк'oza)[1][2] is aRussian singer, actress and TV presenter.
Gluk'oza was also the name of the pop group whose lead singer was Natalya Ionova in 2002–2007, andMaxim Fadeev's pen name (in 2001–2003).[3]

Ionova was born inMoscow,Soviet Union. Some sources call her birthplaceSyzran,Kuibyshev Oblast,Russian SFSR but according to Ionova herself[4] and her Pr-manager, this is a myth that was part of the PR-company.[3]
As a child, her hobbies included ballet andchess. She also did some acting and was in the filmsTriumph andPrincess's War, as well as a few episodes ofYeralash. Currently she has a passion for aviation, her twoDobermans, and her yellowMini Cooper, which she enjoys driving. She describes her favorite musical artists asMadonna,Moby,Mumiy Troll andAgatha Christie.[5]
In December 2005 she recorded and released an English version of her popular song "Schweine" that never took off with the public.

In 17 June 2006 she married Aleksandr Chistyakov (born 23 January 1973), manager of the power supply systems of Russia. The couple has two daughters: Lidia Chistyakova (born 10 May 2007) and Vera Chistyakova (born 8 September 2011). Both girls were born in Spain. She currently lives in Moscow, Russia with her family.
In August 2020 Glukoza was banned from enteringUkraine for three years because of a violation Ukrainian law "by visiting theCrimean peninsula occupied by her country,".[7]Crimea is currentlyunder dispute by Russia and Ukraine.[8]
