Gloristine Brown is an American politician and member of theNorth Carolina House of Representatives for the8th district, which includesPitt County.[3] A Democrat, she was first elected in 2022 in the2022 North Carolina House of Representatives election with 13,116 votes againstrepublican opponent Charles Vincent. She has also been the mayor ofBethel, North Carolina since 2014,[4] and been part of the Bethel Town Board since 1999.[5] Brown is also vice chairwoman ofPitt Community College’s Board of Trustees.[6]
