Glenfield United Football Club is a football club based inWigston,Leicestershire, England. They are currently members of theLeicestershire Senior League Premier Division and play at Saffron Lane, groundsharing withAylestone Park.
The club joined theLeicestershire Senior League Championship in the2016–17 season as County Hall F.C., finishing fifth. In2018–19, County Hall finished third in the renamed Division One, gaining promotion to the Premier Division.[1] County Hall entered theFA Vase for the first time in2019–20.[2] The club changed to its present name in 2021.
The club currently play at Saffron Lane inWigston, groundsharing withAylestone Park.[3] The club previously played inGlenfield, playing adjacent toLeicestershire County Council's County Hall, from which the club's name derives from.[4]
