Giussano (Brianzoeu:Giussan[dʒyˈsãː]) is acomune (municipality) in theprovince of Monza and Brianza, in the Italian regionLombardy, located about 25 kilometres (16 mi) north ofMilan.
Giussano borders the following municipalities:Inverigo,Carugo,Arosio,Briosco,Mariano Comense,Carate Brianza,Verano Brianza,Seregno.
Giussano received the honorary title of city with a presidential decree on 22 October 1987.
Founded in 2012 by a group of seven young residents of Giussano, ASD Giussano Calcio is an amateur football club competing in theSeconda Categoria, Group R ofMonza and Brianza.
