Girish Chandra Yadav (born January 10, 1974) is an Indian politician serving as theState Minister (Independent charge) in the Government ofUttar Pradesh.[1] Born in Samaspur, Paniaria inJaunpur,[2] Mr. Yadav married Smt. Sanju Yadav in 1990, and together they have a son and two daughters.[2]
Yadav is member of theBharatiya Janata Party and is a sitting member of theU.P. Vidhan Sabha (lower house of the state legislature).[3] Yadav is an agriculturist by profession and has a special interest in social service.[2] He holds three bachelor's degrees: inScience, Education,Law.[2]
Yadav was appointed to the cabinet ofYogi Adityanath in March 2017.[4] He serves as the incumbent Minister of State for Sport And Youth Welfare.[1]
