Giovonnie Lavette Samuels (born November 13, 1985) is an American actress and voice artist best known for her role as Nia Moseby inThe Suite Life of Zack & Cody and for being a series regular onAll That from seasons 7–9.[1]
Samuels was born Giovonnie Lavette Samuels inSan Diego, California on November 13, 1985. She began appearing onAll That during 2002, quickly becoming one of the most regularly featured actresses on the show, alongsideJamie Lynn Spears and others. Samuels also appeared in episodes ofThat's So Raven as Raven's cousin, Betty Jane, and reprised her role again in 2022 inRaven's Home. She also appeared onBoston Public.
Samuels has also done voiceover work forBill Cosby's animated show,Fatherhood, onNick at Nite. In 2006, she appeared in the movieBring It On: All or Nothing, the thirdBring It On movie. She has also appeared as an extra inRaven-Symoné's "Backflip" video and in the 2007 filmFreedom Writers. In addition, Samuels has appeared in the movieChristmas At Water's Edge. In July 2007, she began appearing as a recurring character onThe Suite Life of Zack & Cody as Nia Moseby, niece ofMarion Moseby (Samuels was the replacement ofAshley Tisdale, who was absent due to filmingHigh School Musical 2).
