Gilshochill railway station is arailway station serving theGilshochill,Maryhill andCadder areas ofGlasgow, Scotland. The station is located on theMaryhill Line, 31⁄4 miles (5 km) north west ofGlasgow Queen Street. Services are provided byScotRail on behalf ofStrathclyde Partnership for Transport. When the station was opened byBritish Rail in December 1993 it was namedLambhill, being renamed Gilshochill on 24 May 1998 underRailtrack.
From Monday to Saturday, there is a half-hourly service eastbound to Glasgow Queen Street and westbound toAnniesland.[1]
With the timetable revision starting on 18 May 2014, a limited hourly Sunday service now operates on this line between 09:30 and 19:00.
