Ghyvelde (French pronunciation:[ɡivɛld];Dutch:Gijvelde,West Flemish:Gyvelde) is acommune in theNorddepartment in northernFrance.[3] It is located on theBelgian border, and just inland from theNorth Sea. It is, afterBray-Dunes, the second most northern commune of France. TheE40/A16 passes through the commune. On 1 January 2016, the former communeLes Moëres was merged into Ghyvelde.[4]
