"Ghost Dancing" is a song written byJim Kerr,Charlie Burchill andMick MacNeil and recorded by Scottish rock bandSimple Minds.[2] It was released as the fourthsingle from the band's 1985albumOnce Upon a Time.[3] According to the band's website, the first live performance of the song was atJohn F. Kennedy Stadium as part of theirLive Aid performance.[4] The song also appears on their "Glittering Prize (81-92)" album. The song reached number 13 in theUK singles charts.[5]
