Ghiberti is a crater onMercury, with a diameter of 110 kilometers.[1] Its name, Ghiberti, was adopted by theInternational Astronomical Union (IAU) in 1976; after the Italian sculptorLorenzo Ghiberti (1378-1455).[2]
To the east of Ghiberti is the craterSmetana, and to the west isSūr Dās.
