Gerhard Auer (29 June 1943 – 21 September 2019)[1] was a Germanrower who competed forWest Germany in the1972 Summer Olympics.
Auer was born inTepl. He competed at the1970 World Rowing Championships inSt. Catharines in thecoxed four and won gold.[2] He was a crew member of the West German boat which won the gold medal in the coxed fours event at the1972 Summer Olympics in Munich.[3]
