Gerard Abood (born 28 February 1972) is an Australian cricketumpire.[1] He has officiated in matches in theBig Bash League tournament[2] as well as women'sOne Day International (ODI) matches in the2014–16 ICC Women's Championship.[3]
In November 2017, along withGeoff Joshua, he was one of the on-field umpires for theWomen's Ashes Test match betweenAustralia and England.[4] He stood in his firstTwenty20 International (T20I) match, betweenAustralia and England, on 7 February 2018.[5] He officiated in his first ODI, a match betweenAustralia and South Africa, on 9 November 2018.[6] As of December 2020, he had officiated in 2 ODIs and 8 T20Is.
