Pierce Wallace, also known as theGeorgia Joker, is an Americansports fan, television personality, actor, and playwright who was a contestant on season 3 ofFBOY Island, appeared in the filmHemet, or the Landlady Don't Drink Tea (2023), wrote the one-man playReflections of a Tough Texan (2025), and was inducted intoESPN's Fan Hall of Fame.

Personal life

Wallace grew up inValdosta, Georgia,[1][2] as the son of thepodiatrist Mike Wallace, and a high school teacher, Carol Wallace.[3] He is afraternal triplet[1] with brothers Austin and Doyle, and also has a sister, Madalyn.[3]

Wallace was a neighbor toSonny Shroyer,[4] and attendedValdosta High School[5] where he played basketball, was assistant head coach for golf and was nominated for homecoming king in 2012.[1] He graduated high school in 2013 shortly after competing against 15 other students and winning aScion iQ through VHS andWiregrass Georgia Technical College's Keys to the Future Program for lack of absences and tardiness.[6][7] Wallace signed an academic scholarship for theUniversity of Georgia.[8]

2013–2018: Georgia Joker

During his first year of college at University of Georgia, Wallace was 6'5''[1] and woreJoker makeup for theGeorgia Bulldogs' first game againstSouth Carolina.ESPN tweeted about it[9] and Wallace posted a video of himself impersonatingHeath Ledger'sThe Dark Knight character[10] for the game againstLouisiana State University.[11] With more than 85,000 votes,[9] he made it to the top 3 finalists for ESPN's Fan Hall of Fame. In 2014, Wallace was inducted at ESPN headquarters inBristol, Connecticut.[12][13] The character was inspired by Wallace's enthusiasm for theBatman franchise.[14][15]

Career

After moving toLos Angeles in 2018,[16] Wallace became ayoga instructor and was cast in season 3 ofFBOY Island.[17] Abbie Smith atThe Daily Beacon quoted him and described Wallace as the season'shippie.[18] He was eliminated by Hali Okeowo in episode 5.[17] In 2023, Wallace portrayed Howie Stumpp in the comedy horror filmHemet, or the Landlady Don't Drink Tea.[16]

In 2025, Wallace wrote, directed, produced and performed asLyndon B. Johnson in aShakespeareanone-man play titledReflections, which premiered at theSanta Monica Playhouse.[16] He performed the play over 10 times to attendees such asArnold Schwarzenegger andCasey Affleck.[19] It was later retitledReflections of a Tough Texan: The Legacy of Lyndon Johnson for a performance inKetchum, Idaho.[4] Wallace said he was inspired after learning about theVietnam War while finishing school and studied the character through archive footage across several trips to theLyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum.[20]
