District 13 of theGeorgia Senate is a district located inSouth Georgia.
The district includes all ofBen Hill,Berrien,Crisp,Irwin,Lee,Tift,Turner, andWorth counties, as well as the western part ofCoffee County. Cities in the district includeCordele,Douglas,Leesburg, andTifton.
The current senator isCarden Summers, aRepublican fromCordele first elected in a special election in2020.[2]
District 13 is made up the entirety of the counties ofBerrien County,Ben Hill,Crisp,Irwin,Lee,Tift,Turner, andWorth, as well as part of the county ofCoffee.[3]
