Georgenthal (German pronunciation:[ˈɡeːɔʁɡn̩ˌtaːl]) is amunicipality in thedistrict of Gotha, inThuringia,Germany. The former municipalitiesLeinatal,Hohenkirchen andPetriroda were merged into Georgenthal in December 2019. The former municipalityHerrenhof was merged into Georgenthal in January 2024.[3]
