George Goeddeke (/ˈɡɛdɛkiː/GED-eh-kee;[1] born July 29, 1945) is an American former professionalfootball player who was anoffensive lineman for theDenver Broncos in theAmerican Football League (AFL) andNational Football League (NFL) in the 1960s and 1970s.[2] He playedcollege football for theNotre Dame Fighting Irish. Playing with Denver, Goeddeke was anAFL All-Star in1969.
