George Albert Anderson (6 June 1887 – 28 May 1956) was an English professionalfootballer, best remembered for his 10 years asmanager ofDundee between 1944 and 1954.[3][4] As a player, Anderson played as agoalkeeper and made over 200Scottish League appearances forAberdeen.[2] He also played in theFootball League forSunderland.[5][6] Between his retirement as a player as his appointment as manager of Dundee, Anderson served Aberdeen as a director and manager.[2]
