Georgas Freidgeimas (born 10 August 1987) is a Lithuanian former professionalfootballer who played as acentre-back.
Defender joinedŽalgiris Vilnius before 2011 season and spent seven seasons in the club.[1][2] On 8 February 2016, he was loaned out toIrtysh Pavlodar in theKazakhstan Premier League.[3][4]
On 15 June 2017, Freidgeimas signed forOkzhetpes Kokshetau.[5] On 21 January 2018, he came back to Žalgiris. After 2019 season he left Žalgiris, and joinedVilniaus Vytis as a free agent.[6]
After a spell at Lithuanian amateur club Vilniaus Vytis, Freidgeimas retired as a player at the end of 2020. In September 2020, he was hired as an athletic coach atBaltijos Futbolo Akademija.[7]
In February 2021, Freidgeimas also became responsible for all athletic training in theLithuanian Football Federation, focusing mainly on work with youth teams, but also with the senior team.[8]
