Gennaro Borrelli (born 10 March 2000) is an Italianfootballer who plays as aforward forSerie B clubBrescia.
He was raised inPescara's youth teams and made his first appearance for their Under-19 squad in the 2016–17 season. Late in the 2018–19 season, he received 3 call-ups to the senior squad, but remained on the bench.
He made his professionalSerie B debut for Pescara on 27 September 2019 in a game againstCrotone. He substitutedAndrea Cisco in the 78th minute.[1]
On 5 October 2020 he joinedCosenza on loan.[2]
On 20 January 2021 he moved on a new loan toSerie C clubJuve Stabia.[3]
On 11 August 2021, he joinedMonopoli on loan.[4]
On 29 July 2022, Borrelli joinedFrosinone on loan with a conditional redemption obligation.[5]
After the obligation was triggered and Borrelli moved to Frosinone on a permanent basis, he made hisSerie A debut on 19 August 2023 againstNapoli.[6]
On 1 September 2023, Borrelli was loaned byBrescia.[7] On 12 June 2024, Brescia exercised their option to make the transfer permanent.[8]
