Gemmano (Romagnol:Zman) is acomune (municipality) in theProvince of Rimini in theItalian regionEmilia-Romagna, located about 120 kilometres (75 mi) southeast ofBologna and about 15 km (9 mi) south ofRimini.

Gemmano borders the following municipalities:Mercatino Conca,Montescudo-Monte Colombo,Montefiore Conca,San Clemente,Sassocorvaro Auditore,Sassofeltrio.

Sights include the sanctuary of Madonna di Carbognano, built on the ancient site of aGod Pan temple.

The town was razed during theBattle of Gemmano, an engagement inWorld War II.[3]
