Geetha Arts is anIndian filmproduction anddistribution company known for its works inTelugu cinema. It is one of the largest and most successful production houses inSouth Indian cinema.[1][2] It was established in 1972 byAllu Aravind.[3] It has produced around 60 films majority of them inTelugu in addition to a few films inHindi,Tamil, andKannada languages.
Geetha Arts marked its beginning through the 1974 Telugu filmBantrothu Bharya. The company has produced films featuring actors such asChiranjeevi,Rajinikanth,Aamir Khan,Pawan Kalyan,Ram Charan,Allu Arjun,Ganesh,Nani,Ravichandran,Govinda andKartik Aaryan.[4][5][6][7][8] It has also expanded its presence into film distribution, exhibition and digital content.[9]
Geetha Arts is anIndian film production and distribution company established in 1972 by Dasari Satyanaraya Murthy, Vegi Veera Raju andAllu Aravind, the son of veteran Telugu comedianAllu Ramalingaiah.[3] The company was named after the Hindu philosophical textBhagavad Geeta which inspired Allu Aravind.[10] It is formerly known as Geetha Art Productions, Geetha Cine Enterprises, Geetha Creative Arts.[citation needed]
