Geestequelle is aSamtgemeinde ("collective municipality") in thedistrict of Rotenburg, inLower Saxony,Germany. It is situated west ofBremervörde, and approx. 50 km northeast ofBremen. It is named after the source (German:Quelle) of the small riverGeeste. Its seat is in Oerel.

TheSamtgemeinde Geestequelle consists of the municipalities ofAlfstedt,Basdahl,Ebersdorf,Hipstedt, andOerel.
