Ge'a (Hebrew:גֵּיאָה) is amoshav in southernIsrael. Located three kilometres south-east ofAshkelon nearBeit Shikma andTalmei Yafeh, it falls under the jurisdiction ofHof Ashkelon Regional Council. In 2023 it had a population of 792.[1]
The moshav was founded in 1949 byJewish immigrants fromCzechoslovakia andHungary, and was named after the depopulatedPalestinian village ofal-Jiyya, on whose lands it was built.[2]
