Gauna is a northernIndian hindu custom and the ceremony associated with theconsummation of marriage prevalent in the states ofBihar ,Uttar Pradesh andRajasthan . It is associated with the custom ofchild marriage .[ 1] [ 2] [ 3] [ 4] gauna ; that is marriage is consummated only after thegauna ceremony.[ 5]
