Gallants is located northeast ofStephenville,Newfoundland and Labrador,Canada. It was created as a Local Government Community on August 16, 1966.

In the2021 Census of Population conducted byStatistics Canada, Gallants had a population of50 living in33 of its128 total private dwellings, a change of0% from its 2016 population of50. With a land area of 6.33 km² (2.44 sq mi), it had a population density of7.9/km² (20.5/sq mi) in 2021.^[1]
