Brazilian comic book artist
Gabriel Bá (born 5 June 1976) is a Braziliancomic book artist best known for his work onThe Umbrella Academy Casanova Daytripper twin brother of fellow comic book artistFábio Moon .
Gabriel Bá has been writing comics for almost 15 years, and has been published in France, Italy, Spain, the US, and Brazil.[ 1]
They published in the United States for the first time in 1999, with the mini-seriesROLAND – days of wrath , written and self-published by Shane Amaya. In the US, they have contributed on theDark Horse anthologyAutobiographix , published in 2003, alongside such comic book greats asFrank Miller andWill Eisner .
Their independent comic bookROCK'n'ROLL was picked up byImage Comics and published in November 2005.
In 2006, they releasedDe:TALES with Dark Horse, elected by Booklist as one of the 10 best Graphic Novels of that year and nominated for anEisner Award for Best U.S. Edition of International Material . Bá was the artist forMatt Fraction 'sCasanova Image Comics .
In 2007, Bá worked onThe Umbrella Academy Gerard Way , which is being published byDark Horse , and his brotherFábio Moon took over the art onCasanova [ 2]
