Gabrielle Jordão Portilho (born 18 July 1995) is a Brazilian professionalfootballer who plays as aforward ormidfielder forGotham FC of theNational Women's Soccer League (NWSL) and theBrazil national team.
Portilho was announced at Kindermann on 23 December 2012.[2] She made her league debut againstFoz Cataratas on 18 September 2013.[3] Portilho scored her first league goal againstVasco da Gama on 18 September 2014, scoring in the 39th minute.[4]
Portilho made her league debut forSão José against Foz Cataratas on 10 September 2015.[5] She scored her first league goals againstMixto on 16 September 2015, scoring 4 goals against the club.[6]
Hired in 2016 by Spanish teamMadrid CFF, Portilho only played for seven months, before a grave knee injury forced her to spend a whole year recovering, during which she returned to Brazil.[7]
During her second spell at São José, Portilho made her league debut againstSport Recife on 25 April 2018.[8] She scored her first league goal againstPinheirense on 8 August 2018, scoring in the 80th minute.[9]
Portilho made her league debut againstEC Vitória on 16 March 2019.[10] She scored her first league goal against Avaí on 15 September 2019, scoring in the 17th minute.[11]
Portilho was part of the 20193B da Amazônia squad.[12] Playing in theCampeonato Amazonense, she scored ten goals in only eight matches for the team.[13]
In January 2020, Portilho signed forCorinthians.[14] This was the first professional club that she had played for.[15] Gabi Portilho made her league debut againstPalmeiras on 9 February 2020.[16] She scored her first league goal againstCruzeiro on 7 September 2020, scoring in the 74th minute.[17] By 2024, Portilho had won 15 titles with Corinthians, including five editions of theBrazilian championship and three continental tournaments in theCopa Libertadores Femenina.[18]
On 30 December 2024, Portilho signed a multi-year contract withNational Women's Soccer League clubGotham FC.[19] She scored on her NWSL debut on 15 March 2025, volleying the ball from the top of the penalty box in the season opener, a 1–1 draw againstSeattle Reign.[20]

Portilho made her u–17 debut againstJapan U17s on 23 September 2012.[21]
Portilho was called up to the U–20 Brazil squad in 2014.[22] She made her debut a few months later againstGermany U20s on 12 August 2014.[23]
Portilho was called up to the Brazil squad in 2017,[24] but had to pull out due to an injury. She was replaced byCamila.[25]
Portilho made her international debut againstSpain on 7 April 2022.[26] She scored her first goal againstJapan on 30 November 2023, scoring in the 61st minute.[27]
She was called up to the Brazil squad for the2022 Copa América Femenina, which Brazil finished as winners.[28]
On 1 February 2024, Portilho was called up to the Brazil squad for the2024 CONCACAF W Gold Cup.[29]
On 2 July 2024, Portilho was called up to the Brazil squad for the2024 Summer Olympics.[30] During the2024 Summer Olympics, Gabi Portilho helped Brazil win the silver medal, scoring the goal that made them beat hostsFrance in the quarterfinals, and another during the semifinal with Spain.[31][32] Portilho ended up listed at 18th place in the2024 Ballon d'Or,[33] and on December 4,The Guardian chose Portilho at the 60th place among the top 100 women footballers in the world of the year.[34]
