Fursan Hispania Football Club (Arabic:نادي فرسان هسبانيا لكرة القدم) is an Emirati professionalfootball club that started as an academy inAl Sufouh,Dubai. They currently play in theUAE First Division League, after promotion from theSecond Division in the2021–22 season.
In 2014, formerReal Madrid defenderMíchel Salgado founded a football academy to help develop potential footballers in the United Arab Emirates. In 2020, Salgado formed a partnership with Belhoul to form a professional team to join the newly establishedUAE Second Division League.[1][2]
They finished in first place in the2021–22 UAE Division 2, gaining promotion to theUAE First Division League, the second tier of football in the United Arab Emirates.[3]
