Fuculose or6-deoxy-tagatose is aketohexosedeoxy sugar.[1][2] Fuculose is involved in the process of sugar metabolism.[3]l-Fuculose can be formed froml-fucose byl-fucose isomerase and converted toL-fuculose-1-phosphate byl-fuculose kinase.[4]
