Fritz Schär (13 March 1926 inKaltenbach – 29 September 1997 inFrauenfeld) was aSwisscyclist who in 1953 won the firstpoints classification ever in theTour de France. He also finished third in the general classification in the1954 Tour de France. He was theSwiss National Road Race champion in 1953.[1]
