TheFreeX FXT is a German single-place,paraglider that was designed and produced byFreeX ofEgling in the mid-2000s. It is now out of production.[1]

Design and development

The FXT was designed as amountaineering descent glider and was only built in a single size. It has shorter lines to facilitate taking off in smaller alpine spaces.[1]

The aircraft's 8.8 m (28.9 ft) span wing has 37 cells, a wing area of 20.9 m2 (225 sq ft) and anaspect ratio of 5.1:1. The pilot weight range is 45 to 95 kg (99 to 209 lb). Like all FreeX wings it features internal diagonal bracing.[1]
