Francesco Zizola (born 1962) is an Italian photojournalist, based in Rome.[1] His photographs have appeared in magazines and he has received numerousWorld Press Photo awards, includingWorld Press Photo of the Year in 1996 and fourPictures of the Year International awards. He is a member ofNOOR photo agency, which he co-founded.

Life and work

Zizola was born inRome and studiedanthropology.[1] He began working as a professional photographer in 1981 and became aphotojournalist in 1986.[1] He is based in Rome.[1]

He is a member ofNOOR photo agency, which he co-founded in 2007.[2][3]
