Francesco Perrone (3 December 1930 – 27 April 2020) was an Italianlong-distance runner. He competed in themarathon at the1960 Summer Olympics.[1] Perrone was an athlete of theGruppo Sportivo Fiamme Oro.[2] Perrone died fromCOVID-19 during thepandemic in Italy on 27 April 2020 at the age of 89.[3]
