Fröjel (Swedish pronunciation:[ˈfrœ̂jːɛl])[3] is a populated area, asocken (not to be confused withparish), on the Swedish island ofGotland.[4][5] It comprises the same area as theadministrative Fröjel District, established on 1 January 2016.[6] In 2014, it had a population of 358.[1]
Fröjel is situated on the west coast of Gotland.[7] ThemedievalFröjel Church is in Fröjel.[8] As of 2019[update], Fröjel Church belongs to Fröjelparish in Klintepastorat.[9][10]
