Forsskaolea is a smallgenus of 7 species ofperennialherbs in thenettle family with non-stinging hairs and dot-like concretions of mineral matter on their green parts. The genus was named in honor of Swedish botanistPeter Forsskål.[4]
Forsskaolea have found homes in the southern parts of thePalearctic from theCanary Isles and southeast Spain then eastwards toPakistan and westernIndia.[2]
