Forgue is a hamlet inAberdeenshire.[1] It lies 35 miles (56 km) northwest ofAberdeen and 8 miles (13 km) northeast ofHuntly. The hamlet is surrounded by the lands of Bognie Estate, which have been held by theMorisons of Bognie since 1635.[2] TheGlendronach distillery,Bognie Castle, Scott Hall, Forgue Primary School, Forgue Kirk and St. Margaret's Episcopal Church are located within the wider area.
