TheFord Royale was anautomobile which was produced inBrazil byAutolatina, a joint venture betweenFord andVolkswagen, in the 1990s.[1] It was a wagon version of theFord Versailles sedan.
The Royale was available as a 3-doorstation wagon[2] and as a 5-doorstation wagon.[3] 1.8 litre and 2.0 litre four cylinder engines were offered.[2] The Royale and the relatedFord Versailles sedan were essentially rebadgedVolkswagen Quantums.[1]
