Fodé Sanassy Sylla (born 16 April 2006) is a French professional football player who plays as adefensive midfielder forLigue 1 clubLens.
Sylla is a product of the youth academies of Roubaix Omnisports andLens. On 14 June 2023, he signed his first professional contract with Lens until 2026.[2] He joinedYverdon Sport FC on loan in theSwiss Super League for the 2024–25 season to gain experience.[3] Returning to Lens after his loan, he extended his contract with the club on 13 August 2025 until 2028.[4]
Born in France, Sylla is of Guinean descent.[5] He played for theFrance U17s at the2023 UEFA European Under-17 Championship and2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup.[6][7]
