Flying Dutchman (sternwheeler)

19th-century steamship

TheFlying Dutchman was a 19th-centurysteamship inBritish Columbia and thePacific Northwest. It was the firststeamboat to enter theStikine River, in 1862,[1] and the first vessel to take a cargo oflumber fromBurrard Inlet (Vancouver harbour), in August 1863, underCaptain William Moore.[2]
