Floriana Lima is an American actress. She playedMaggie Sawyer onThe CW'sSupergirl. She began playing recurring character Darcy Cooper in season 2 of theABC dramaA Million Little Things, and was promoted to the main cast for season 3.

Floriana was born inCincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Dennis Lima and Angela Maynard.^[1][2] She is of Italian, Irish, English, Spanish and Portuguese descent.^[3] She graduated from Fairfield Senior High School in 1999^[4] and went on to study Communications atOhio State University.^[2]

After college, she worked as aproduction assistant atNBC affiliateWCMH-TV inColumbus, Ohio.^[5] She then decided to move toLos Angeles to pursue an acting career.^[2][6]

Lima was a series regular in the internet comedyPoor Paul (2008-2009) and later became a series regular inFox's medical dramaThe Mob Doctor (2012-2013).^[7] She had a recurring role inNBC's spy seriesAllegiance (2015), was a series regular inABC's thrillerThe Family (2016) and had a recurring role in Fox's action dramaLethal Weapon from 2016 to 2018. From 2016-2017, Lima played Detective Maggie Sawyer in season two & three ofThe CW'sSupergirl.^[8]

In 2018, Lima played the character of psychiatrist Krista Dumont in the second season ofNetflix'sThe Punisher.^[9]

In 2019, Lima joined the second season ofABC'sA Million Little Things as military veteran and physical therapist Darcy Cooper. She became a series regular in season 3 (2021).
