Florian Hübner (born 1 March 1991) is a German professionalfootballer who plays as acentre back for3. Liga clubSV Wehen Wiesbaden.
Hübner began his career in the youth system ofSV Wehen Wiesbaden and was promoted to the first team in the 2009–10 season.
On 18 May 2011, Hübner signed a two-year contract and moved toBorussia Dortmund II on a free transfer.[1] Hübner was promoted to teamcaptain following the transfer ofChristian Eggert to1. FC Saarbrücken at the start of the 2011–12 season.[2] He missed the second half of the 2011–12 season with asyndesmosis injury.[3]
In 2013, he joinedSV Sandhausen.[4]
He signed forHannover 96 for the2016–17 season.[5]
In June 2018, Hübner transferred toUnion Berlin, signing a contract there until 2020.[6]
After three years Hübner left1. FC Nürnberg.[7]
On 29 July 2024, Hübner returned to his first clubSV Wehen Wiesbaden.[8]
His brothersChristopher andBenjamin are professional footballers and his father Bruno is director of sports atEintracht Frankfurt.[9]
