Aflat top guitar is a type of guitarbody model which has a flat top (as opposed toarchtop). The term "flat top" is usually used to refer to the most popular type ofsteel-string acoustic guitars;[1] however, electric guitars such as the solid-bodiedFender Telecaster and theGibson Les Paul Junior andSpecial can be described as "flat top".[2]
